Private supplier and installer conditions
Draft conditions for an invitation-only network. No supplier agreement is represented as signed.
Approval and accurate information
Provide accurate legal identity, capability, geographic coverage, relevant insurance and evidence of checks. Notify material changes. Approval expires and can be suspended proportionately for inaccurate information, security issues or substantiated concerns. Staff must document checks and limits before describing any business as vetted.
Private access
Use only your approved organisation account and invitations. No public supplier directory is provided. Do not disclose competing bids, scrape the network, resell leads, make onward introductions or use contact details for unrelated marketing. Access ends when permission, approval or invitation expires.
Bid content
Give a complete written scope, exact product proposal, suitability and survey requirements, VAT-inclusive total or clear non-registration status, exclusions, lead time, quote validity, warranty and assumptions. Submit changes as a new revision. No platform bid or recommendation binds the customer to buy work.
Direct customer contract
Your installation agreement is directly with the customer. Provide required identity, cancellation information, statutory-rights protection, aftercare and complaints procedure before acceptance. You cannot bind TintSmart or claim a TintSmart installation warranty.
Data-sharing duties
Receive only approved project fields for the stated quotation purpose. Give your own privacy information where required. Protect data, restrict staff access, honour applicable rights and withdrawals, cooperate on complaints and incidents, and avoid onward use. Controller-sharing responsibilities must be agreed before live access; a label in this draft does not determine legal controller status.
Incidents and monitoring
Report suspected misuse or personal-data incidents promptly to the appointed TintSmart contact. Cooperate with containment and evidence preservation. TintSmart will review network concerns and checks; an invitation is not a guarantee of future work.
Commercial arrangements
Fees, commissions and any effect on recommendations must be agreed and disclosed separately. No lead charge, payment collection, exclusive territory or supply arrangement is enabled or promised in this preview.
Reviewed source guidance: CMA trader recommendation platforms; ICO data protection guidance; Consumer Contracts Regulations. Drafts require review for the actual operation.
Questions about this draft notice
Practical answers to help you plan your project.
Is this notice approved for live TintSmart operations?
No. This is a draft for review. The operator details, relevant agreements and operational arrangements must be confirmed before the matching service collects live project data or makes introductions.
Link to this answerDoes preparing a brief book work or accept an installation quote?
No. Saving a brief or expressing a preference does not book installation. The customer must review and agree the independent installer’s written scope and contract before work is booked.
