Frequently asked questions

Smart & switchable privacy: your questions

Practical answers to help you plan your project.

Is switchable privacy film the same as blackout or solar-control glazing?

No. PDLC privacy, SPD shading and electrochromic glazing are different technologies. A translucent privacy state can still transmit light and show shadows. Check the exact product for privacy, clarity, shading and any separate solar-control need.
